Now, at 7 years old (Nanasai) he measures 81cm. I am hoping to grow him to about 85cm by the end of this Summer. It's February now, and I won't start feeding again until the end of April.

"Hi Martin, in reply to your questions... This Koi was grown here from Tosai of 28cm, though to Nisai of about 60cm in our 20 ton pond, with many Koi. After that, he went into our 37 ton pond, where he has only been fed between April and November, and at water temperatures of about 23c during Summer. He should grow a little more this year, as I have made some improvements to the 37 ton pond where he lives. Also, I should point out, that he has been raised in very soft water (using Reverse Osmosis), and Bakki Showers."
